Apple & Blueberry Pinwheels (4 ingredients)
These are a delicious sweet dessert or snack. They are super easy to make! Get your baby or toddler to help make them, so much fun... Ava loved them ? and so did hubby! They are nice and soft to eat with a little crunch... great to add texture and variety into bubs diet. Feel free to mix up the toppings... savoury or sweet wheels ??
Ingredients
- 1 sheet of Puff pastry (320 grams)
- 3/4 cup apple sauce (unsweetened)
- 1 cup of frozen blueberries
- Cinnamon
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat oven 200dc. Line a rectangle tray with non-stick paper or silicone tray liner (we love our silicone liner!). Roll out pastry out into a rectangle then cover the pastry with apple sauce, then frozen blueberries then sprinkle cinnamon all over.
- Step 2 Time to roll: length ways roll up the pastry (long ways from bottom to top). Then cut into 1 inch pin wheels and each pinwheel on a non-stick tray facing up.
- Step 3 Place tray into the oven for 10min on 200dc
- Step 4 Once cooked, leave to cool (watch out with the blueberries as they can be really hot!) OR can freeze ❄ for up to 3 months.
This is a nice quick recipe, thank you for the brilliant write up.
